New Poll: Do You Think The NIV Translators Have Taken Too Much Liberty With Their Translation Of The Holy Bible?

I just happened to come across this document where Keith Piper talks at length about what he considers to be serious omissions from the New International Version of the Bible.

  1. The most frightening part, as a Christian, of these liberties being taken with the holy word of God is that there are Christians who are reading these versions of the truth not knowing that it is not the truth. Anything that is not 100% accurate is a lie. Deceiving people into thinking that Christ was less than he actually was or that salvation is anything other than what it actually is is a horrible offense against God. Leading people away from the true word of God, the real Bible, and into these “versions” of the Bible is akin to leading them to a different religion altogether.
