Why would you want to hurt your spouse? Why would you want to outsmart your own flesh and bone?

Why would you take time to gossip about your spouse with friends, family, and coworkers?

Why would you spend your hard earned cash on intoxicating liquor and leave your spouse at home hungry?

Why would you want to go on vacations without the love of your life?

Why should you give the best years of your life to the company that wants to tell you when to get up, how to dress, and seeks to dictate your every move – pension, days off, how much health insurance you are worth etc…while your spouse is treated as a dishwasher, toilet cleaner and floor mat by the way you talk to him or her when you return home from work?

These are some of the questions that many people can’t answer. The relationship between a husband and his wife is an extraordinary one. God made it this way so we can have strong societies, strong communities and wonderful families. Any person who tries to sabotage marriages is a danger to the entire society. Any person who engages in undermining a husband to his wife or a wife to her husband is a serial killer.

As a husband – if someone comes and tells you bad things about your wife that person does not like you. As a wife – if someone comes and tells you bad things about your wife that person does not like you. There are a lot of out of place people strutting around and using their mouths to destroy families – be aware of them. God has said in His word:
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

– Ephesians 5:25-33.
