Being saved right this minute…right this very second…is very simple. Many have tried to complicate salvation in the past and some continue to do it today…but today I want to expose the secret to you that Salvation is simple. You can be saved right now. Borrowing from Romans 10:9-12, which says:

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him

Here we have a formula guaranteed by the Word of God, guaranteed by the living God of heaven and earth who has made each of us and given His Life to us, guaranteed by the only One True God whose breath has given Life to each living person and keeps each heart pumping!

So in simple mathematical format:

Confess With Your Mouth The Lord Jesus
+ Believe In Your Heart That God Hath Raised Jesus From The Dead

= You Are Saved

The power of this formula is not just in its simplicity but in doing it – as I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus Christ I begin to learn the formula and also learn more about Jesus Christ as I confess Him to others and share with others how good He is.

“+ Believe In Your Heart That God Hath Raised Jesus From The Dead” – allows me to internalize within the deep recesses of my thoughts how amazing our God is – that He should send Jesus to die and be humiliated on earth for my sins and that God raised Jesus from being dead to give me Life forever.

The fact is nobody disputes whether Adolf Hitler was a wicked man who killed many Jews – it just goes as fact although many of us never saw first hand Adolf Hitler we believe by seeing the pictures, hearing the stories.

Well today beyond the many pictures we have seen and the many stories in the Bible about Jesus Christ there are two more guarantees in Romans 10:

– Whosoever believeth on Jesus shall not be ashamed.

– There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: [in other words it does not matter who you are] for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.

Today I urge you to ignore the skeptics and take hold of this precious gift right now:

Confess With Your Mouth The Lord Jesus
+ Believe In Your Heart That God Hath Raised Jesus From The Dead

= You Are Saved

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

-Romans 10:3-15
