Immediate Praise – August 2015

Career, Communication, Experience, Feet, House, Immediate Praise – August 2015, Important, Opportunity, Paul, Scales, Series, Son, Urgency, Weddings

From the time Jesus stopped Paul in his tracks on the road to Damascus in Acts 9, an amazing series of events took place that signalled the beginning of a tremendous and fruitful career. If we were to marinate Acts 9, it doesn’t take long for us to be stopped in our own tracks as we read about the immediacy with which Paul began to praise!

Acts 9 verses 17-20 plunge us straight into Ananias’ important visit to Paul, it reads:

[17] And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. [18] And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. [19] And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. [20] And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

With urgency, Paul’s ministry begins with Immediate Praise to God and Immediate Preaching about the One He had come to experience – Jesus Christ – the Son of God!
